Guidelines governing application submission and screening for the Sir Syed Excellence Award.
Eligibility
Students from any UG or PG programme and any batch are eligible to apply.
Submission & Faculty Endorsement
Submit the duly filled application form, signed by the concerned HoD and Tutor, on or before 5 February 2027.
Supporting Documents
Attach relevant supporting documents and certificates as proof of the achievements claimed.
Application Scrutiny
Incomplete applications or applications without supporting documents may not be considered.
Selection Committee
The decision of the Selection Committee shall be final.
Four Broad Areas of Evaluation
Claims and certificates are benchmarked across four institutional pillars (100-Mark Rubric).
Curricular performance, SGPA, publications, seminars, MOOCs, and library hours.
College Union governance, NSS, NCC, recognized clubs, and community initiatives.
University arts festivals, sports championships, athletic meets, and literary events.
Competitive exams (NET, GATE, PSC, UPSC), external scholarships, and honors.

I solemnly certify that all particulars and supporting certificates submitted by me in this application are authentic. I agree that incomplete applications or applications without supporting documents may not be considered, and that the decision of the Selection Committee shall be final and binding.
